Like finding out you're not getting the job that you have been interviewing for awhile on, or your mate gets up and leaves you, or your car won't start, or you just can't get all of the cream of mushroom soup out of the can even when you use a spatula (LOL)?

So how do you get out of the bad energy funk when life hits you from the side? How do you pick up your feet and walk to higher standards and higher dreams when they keep getting shattered.

Sorry you're having such a bad day!! If I could change it I would ;)

I guess the best advice I could give is to step back, regroup & tackle it again. You talk to someone who will listen, but not judge and most of all - take all the hugs you can (((H)))!!

E-mail me if you want to talk.....

yes, i came back from vacation this summer and found out the the sale on my house dropped after being in escrow for 30 days. only a week left to go and it failled. I felt crushed because i had alreayd gotten a new home i was looking so forward to living in and i had gone on vacation to try to relax and when i came back, life, like you said, hit me from the side. It honestly SUCKED! but, i went back to work and spend lots of time with friends and family that helped keep my mind of my problems and gave me advice. went swimming and working out at the gym to de-stress myself. It worked really well. The busier your day is, the less time you have to think about your problems. Just keep your hopes up because the best is always around the corner.

All days after vacation are shitty days. You have to unpack everything, see what you've lost in transit, deal with the costs....
I imagine that if you're gone for a long time, there's a chance your mate might stray, since nobody is there to keep an eye on him (Goes for girls, too).
But you also have nice new memories, and maybe some great souvenirs, and a tan. :)
