I have set up an account with www.dyndns.com (because I have a dynamic IP) and I have the sshd service running on my machine, but I can't log into my computer. Also, I'm using a rounter, but port 22 should be open for my computer.

Don't take this the wrong way but , from the way you said that that port (22) was open for your computer, I suspect that you have port 22 open on the router but do you have it forwarded to the linux box? Can you log in using ssh locally ie "ssh 127.0.0.1"? Put the linux box in the routers' dmz and then try it remotely. Might help to know what distribution of linux you are using . (I use Suse here but am familiar with quite a few)

From home check that the public IP of your computer is the correct one. Some ISPs do use asymmetric routing so the IP address could be wrong. To check this do a traceroute to anywhere from the linux machine.

Is there a software firewall enabled on the linux box? Or is SE Linux installed?

Also in a terminal type netstat -a to check that it really is listening on port 22.

Not much more I can think of to help you sorry.
