Hello!!
Well, i guess that you can find some great info on sites live hastalavista.com where you can find many tools to start playing and more important, to see the way they work and to protect against them.
Another, you can look at some kind of analysis about name resolution and that kinna stuffs in irder to see the way the internet works.
Another easier page to find some other information security threads (virus and spyware and all that) works is on www.howstuffsworks.com, its a pretty good to learn about internet an that kinna stuffs.

The enclosed links will give you an indepth knowledge of how your identity is stolen from computers. (You will see that it is not the computer usually, but the person who operates the computer does not use good common sense).
This link is from my daily BBC NEWS, from last week.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6083818.stm
These two link is from the Government of Australia that I receive.

For more information on transacting securely online, check out http://www.staysmartonline.gov.au
Please read them and you will gain alot of insight on how to protect yourself online and especially with the BBC NEWS one, on how people who don't use common sense are allowing criminals to make millions of dollars per day and they are not getting caught as they hide behind a proxy that they change daily.
