Yes, I think a lot of people struggle with depression especially around the holidays. I know I do, and this year is the worst one yet. I am aware of a german study that was made a couple of years ago. The depression at christmas seems to be quiet common and as a result of that, the suicide rate peakes around christmas and new year.
So you are by far not the only one.

A lot of people do. Sadly, suicide rates go up during the Holidays - I hope you're not that depressed! If you are, PLEASE seek some help.

It can be depressing because winter has just set in, so just eat, drink, and be merry. It can be difficult depending on your social circumstances, as it is probably the hardest time for singletons.
