I see your view! But it is mighty funny how we see every other race trying to be like us. It seems as if almost everybody wants to be black so bad but yet they put us down. But I know why it's because we are unique we have our own style that some will never understand. Don't trip off of what others think about us just be proud that we have so many haters. We must keep on doing things to make them hate on us and continue to move on. But I also see the points of others some black people give off that vibe and make that reputation for us. But I don't because I know that I am not the stereotypical black person I am aobve others expectations of what black people are.

White people and other races do not have the market cornered on racism.
I have seen quite a few black people who hate whites, Asians, Mexicans and Arabs.
Certainly I do not think that all black people hate whites, Asians, Mexicans or Arabs, nor do they all use white people as an excuse for keeping them in poverty.
I am just saying - do not get high and mighty when there are those of the black race who hates other races.
For the record, I am white and am proud to say I have worked side by side with some of the finest black people I have ever met. I've liked them better than many whites I worked with. They never made race an issue unless some idiot racist made an issue of it.
The only black people I don't like - is not because they are black. Its usually only the ones who walk around with an attitude. Kind of like the many whites I know who walk around with an attitude and I don't like them either.
Want respect? Don't make race an issue. If someone makes race and issue with you.., just do like Mister T.., "Pity da foo" and feel sorry for anyone who has a low mentality.
The black men and women I worked with (except for one anti-white racist boss) always made me feel human, and I had no problem seeing them just like anyone else. The color was not important. Respect was / is.

The greatest like and love of all is love of thy self. We as black people don't love ourselves which makes it easy for others to find us distasteful. We black women today are literally starving ourselves so that we can get the very thin body of women of other races because we feel that our men find that body type more attractive - the fact of the matter is that look is unhealthy. We perm our hair to get the texture of others when there is nothing more beautiful than a black queen in her Afro and braids. I am an educated woman and I can't stand it when black women (mostly the educated ones) us that high pitched annoying tone in a feeble attempt to change the way we naturally speak. Our black men who become successful and are in the media throw it in our faces when they go and marry outside their race. We as black people are still behaving like the house ******, massa gave me a car and a house and a good job so therefore I don't care about my people and their needs - I can go on 4ever.

People are by nature bullies. We always have to have a scapegoat to pick on. In the early part of the last century it was Jews. In Britain some whites tend to disparage mainly Asians (in our useage people from the Indian subcontinent) then Africans, then West Indians.
One day we will transcend this kind of tribalism, but unfortunately that day is a long way off.

black people in america are perceived by others as being criminals, loud, agressive, lazy and complainers. It's been over 100 years since slavery and they still seem to have trouble getting their act together. 80% of all violent felonies in USA are comitted by non-whites, that's not a perception but an FBI fact.
That certainly doesn't help things along

the more you interalize this type of ignorance the more you will attract it. you have to not deal with people on a level of race; if they try to deal with you on that level; don't stoop down to thier level. they are low class and if you stoop down to that level so are you.
as for no one liking us, come on, think about it. every time they are on t.v. they are trying to get butt implants (something we have naturally), collegan injections to get bigger lips ( come you know thats us) and when the weather gets hot who the first one running out in the sun to get DARKER . . . . its not that they hate us they want to be us. thats why they are listening to our music and having their women get surgery to look like us. it jealousy sweetie.
as for the burden, if you are not one then you shouldn't feel like one. no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. if you are a burden (on public asst. or what have you) make plans to become independent and upward mobile.
you are wonderful and you are worth it and you need to believe it and know it.
