By far. I think all of us are "Sal's pal's" He is simply a legend. His mullet is a work of art. His Mustache is nothing short of perfect. Can he hit over .200? NO. Can he throw anyone out at second? NO Do we care? NO He is a god among mortals. He also may become the first guy to win both MVP trophys in the same year. (he played in the NL and AL)

True Fassano is a pimp, and maybe the biggest pimp currently in the MLB. However, most Minnesota, New York, and Chicago fans would agree that the biggest pimp ever in the MLB is Ron Coomer. Coomdog not only had the looks, but he even made an all-star game. Plus Coomdog was all about the long ball, and you know what they say: Chicks Dig the Long ball.

i could slender that checklist all the way down to Jon Lester, Volquez, and Scherzer. yet this is barely from the numbers they have placed up this year. Volquez is putting up CY youthful style numbers, carrying a checklist of seven-one million with an era of one million.33 and impressive out sixty two batters in fifty 4.one million. This guy is solid there, if he can stay healthful and save putting up those stunning numbers, he's gonna be large, if fact be told, he already is large. Jon Lester, all I gotta say is that the guy is barely 24 years outdated, and has already been talked approximately as as much as the huge leagues, AND thrown a no-hitter. no longer many gamers can throw a no-hitter, yet a guy new to the league, and not very experienced throwing one is incredibly magnificent. next in line is Max Scherzer. even nonetheless he has a checklist of 0-2, he has a 2.33 era. He has struck out 23 batters in 19.one million innings, besides as purely jogging 7. He has a brilliant destiny, and that i'm hoping he maintains to pitch properly.

Sal and Johnny Damon both lost their flair when Steinbrenner cut their hair and made them shave.

I loved Fasano when he was with the Orioles. He seemed to be one of the few guys out there having fun and actually appreciating the few fans who showed up.

I caught a few Phillie games up north and loved the old school 'stache. He'll make a great Devil Ray.

He has been around for a long time pimping in the minors. I have him on a 1998 Baseball Card on the KC Royals until he
finally got popular all of a sudden and I have him on Phillies. He's
a Free Agent so he'll go somewhere he can get the look again.

Sal is the best new-aged old school player alive. when he was with the phillies they had his fan club, Sal's Pals, which you could search for on myspace and get a link to a site whereyou could buy a shirt, i have no idea if it is still up there because he is no longer a phillie, but yes, pimp indeed
