Where is a good place to order a good computer, without having good credit history in canada?

Most major computer makers (Apple, Dell, HP) have financing available, as do retail stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City. Your best bet is to decide what kind of computer you want and apply for credit directly from that company.

Keep in mind that you may only qualify for a low credit limit (under $1000) and the interest rates on these types of accounts are usually very high (20-30% annually). However, if you don't qualify for a regular credit account from your bank, it may be worth it to you to pay the extra fees in order to get a computer.

Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions carefully before opening an account, and check coupon sites for discount codes or special offers that can be applied to the purchase of your system. (If you're a student, you may also qualify for an education discount.)

Have you tried ordering through Dell? They're excellent! (I doubt though, that any company will ship to you without prepayment in full, or credit check.)
