a bunch of people are sitting around at different companies and asking "I wonder what the folks over at x are doing" cut to people at x "I wonder what the folks over at y are doing" cut to people at y.... etc etc... I need to use the commercial as an example in a paper I am doing.. but need to get more details about it.

It pretty much states that the "big guys" use the ideas from the "little guys". That even all the money and big time corporate companies have to struggle and get their ideas from somewhere and that the smaller companies can make it on their own.
