Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Ashes cricket on the radio station BBC World Service? Also, could you recommend a good radio for this?

Nope. Unless you can find a website that transmits that radio station you won't be able to access it from Peru. Although, we do have the BBC World channel from some cable providers. However, all it has are news and some reports.

Having checked out the BBC's website I can offer you the link as below which describes all of their coverage.

Doesn't look good I'm afraid

Please note: International listeners will not be able to hear TMS when broadcasting from outside the UK - rights restrictions prevent us from streaming England's Test tours to an international audience.

Hope you enjoy Peru anyway!
