Do you think it's because the avatars look so unthreatening and friendly? I mean, I sort of look like my cartoon avatar, but if you see the real people, sometimes there is an unconscious judgment that goes along with how someone looks. Maybe not- just an idea.
I just think it is fun to exchange ideas with so many people that I would never run into in my daily life. Even if I don't agree with you and tell you so, your feelings won't be hurt because you don't know me, and there is nothing at stake because you don't have to see me or pretend to like me if you don't!
Also, personally, I express myself better in writing, because I have time to think about exactly what I mean, so I can express it in a way that people can more likely perceive it the way I meant it. And, lastly, there are great catagories on yahoo!answers- I have learned a lot, actually, and realize that a lot of people feel the way I do about many things. Makes you feel connected.

It is definitely addictive and I just cannot help it, plays it as often as I can in spite of my routine. Yahoo took all my attention and I even stop playing the games so much.
