No, they dont take office until January and even after that they arent going to "cut and run" like everybody says. The troops will come home much sooner than if the GOP still had control though.

Mr Shmoe we are not going to cut and run and have been telling people this for a long time .We are going to work out a plan to get out of Iraq in the best way possible .

cut and run , that is what was promised.... One problem Bush is still Commander and Chief .. Then again Charles Rangel is promising" to cut their funds and leave them high and dry" .. Just leave the American troops flapping in the wind... What a plan..
