It was confirmed to be some huge 7ft actor in a suit when the movie production was actually moving forward. I think they were going to voice over his lines later.
If I had to pick among pretty well known actors, I'd have to say The Rock is perfect because he's a big tall guy that can hold his own in an action flick.

The same guy that played Jason in "Freddy Versus Jason"
Ken Kirzinger, Height 6' 5" (1.96 m). He was also the cook, in Jason Takes Manhattan.. Jason picked him up and threw him over the counter.
He also did the voiceover for Jarge Bender on Futurama on that episode "the bender family".
I don't recall the voice for the life of me. But he seemed to have a decent amount of muscle mass.
I'd hate to see "The Rock" get the role, but it would have to be him, or another wrestler, unless they get that guy who used to be a contestant on "Ultimate Warrior"..
I wish I could recall his name.. He's even a couple of inches taller and has the age just about right.. not to mention he's got the moves to make it all look good. All I can remember of his name is like "shaw".
