How is the work in the electrical union in your area?

My family is looking into moving off of long island. My husband is an electrician and we need to find a place that has lots of work for him somewhere within a few hours of NYC. Does anybody have any input?

I'll bet Las Vegas is busy. It's a few hours by plane :-)

We are holding our own here in Detroit, but certainly don't need more electricians. Near NYC? I am hearing rumours out of Camden NJ but these are just rumors
