Today President Bush announced that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld has resigned. With the latest approval rating for the President in the mid 30 percentile range I wonder if his departure (Rumsfeld) will help boost the President's approval rating.

No, if Rumsfeld was right he should not have been sacked. If he was wrong he should have gone a long time ago.

Rumsfeld never should be at all. He was a joke or joker is nothing to be proud to keep him. All the sneaky answers. How is handle all the politics - just forget it - I don't care about the rating anyway, is going to nowhere.

Maybe it'd be better if he fired Rumsfeld.

These things will make the President's approval rise...

Osama getting whacked.

Al-Queda gives up in Iraq.

Bush dumps amnesty for illegals (the main reason i think the Republicans lost) and embraces the idea of demagnatization.

Okay that last one will make his approval ratings soar like a rocket but he's a stubborn one.

The democrats will keep their seats if they manage to do any of the above.
