I'm debating between purchasing a lether living room set or a microfiber one. Which one is best for a home with pets?

If you buy a good quality pigmented leather and look after it with good quality leather products a leather suite should be fine. Animals will do just as much, if not more, damage to fabric as thye will do to leather.
Use a good protector and buy a darker colour rather than a light one and things should be OK.

I bought a red micro fiber sofa from Haverty's and I hated it. My two schnauzers would get on it and lick their feet and it left crusty white spots all over. I sold it and now have a leather one. Leather is much better for homes with dogs.... don't know about cats. Hope this helps.

If you have cats or dogs do not get the leather one
