I'm no computer geek/wiz - but in internet explorer, when you partially type an address, addresses in your history will pull up. I know with mine - for example - if I type "www.ama" then amazon.com will pull up.....know what I mean? Hope this helps...you may be describing something totally different. If you want rid of this - clear the history; delete the tempory internet files folder....

It is because in your History, there are other sites with that same letter. Your computer is pulling up all of those sites with the same letter and after you type in a few more letters, you should be left with the one that you want.

because this is how it is being designed to in a way to navigate sites easily. however, i couldnt see any problem with that actually but if it annoys you, just clear your history by going to tools > internet options if you are using internet explorer
