I have bought a black, v-neck, ''baby-doll'' style sweater dress which comes just above the knee. I am 5'3'' and a larger size 10 (size 12 is def. too big on me but 10 can sometimes be too fitting depending on where I buy from). Basically, I do not know what to wear with it as I don't want to look frumpy or short but at the same time, I want to wear shoes/boots that would look right with the dress. Should I wear boots, flats, stillettos...or what? What style? Advice on colors? Help!

i'd say depending on what the occassion for the dress you can wear any of the above mentioned... if you 'stand' tall you'll look assured and confident!!! LOVE YOURSELF!

I would recommend a 4" black pump or go with a knee high boot still with the heel it will help to accent your curves very nicely.

i would automatically tell you to wear a bold colour stilleto or ballerina pumps in leopard or poka dot print... dont go with the knee high boot look. itll make you look shorter and stumpy. ankle boots only look good if uve got thin calves so if you do wear those (fashion must-have of fall) but if not no worries, pumps and stilletos match too... in bold colours so you can clash with the black... i would say purple or green r YELLOW... yh girl...xxx

i % to advise black intense heel boots or perhaps black residences, becuz i had that gown in the previous and that i attempted lookin at myself interior the mirror and that i luv it! i seem completely beautiful! i as quickly as wore that for a party and that i won best dressed! i swear youll seem beautiful with the shoes i % to advise!! :D have exciting!

i would say kitten heals in silver or a bold color.
kitten heals are like flats but with the tinyiest of heals to give a bit of hight. silver looks nice with black and other accessories or a bold color would make your feet stand out. just match your shoes to your accessories and anything will go. just don't choose black shoes. you will look like you are going to a funeral.

i agree with sunshine, cept wear a really bold colour leggins, and black boots, and wear a belt that matches the leggins...my friend wore something along those lines and she looked killer!

depending on the look you want....for a sexy look...wear a stiletto...red with red accessories (belt, earrings, bracelets)
for a sexy chic look.... black or two colored mary janes with simple accessories.........
Chic casual......Tall stiletto boots ....that is slimming at the calves; with a short jacket .........boots are ok but to get a nice slimming look I would go with the stilettos
Please stay away from angle boots and sneakers.....
