Fill an old tyre with concrete, make a hole in it with the pole of your whirlygig and when it has set you have a really heavy base to put your pole into that will not blow over and because it's a tyre, you can move it around easily!

My blasted whirlygig was never too stable, even in concrete, because it pivoted, it was loose, and got worse and worse. Eventually I got sick of it and tied a side to a tree on each side, that fixed it. Fortunately there are several trees in my garden.

easy get a pipe bigger than the wirlygig pipe bash it into the groung 2' then put wirlygig in pipe
You dont need concrete if it goes in deep enough.

Buy a dryer! This is the best advice. I wouldn't be without mine and you hardly have to iron clothing.
