There are 2 females in my office who hasn't liked me since I started,I am not sure why,but they never gave me a chance to get to know who I am.They always point out the bad I do,and if they make the same mistake I bring it to there attention they get HIGHLY upset at me.I don't understand.Alot of mistakes that happen are there mistakes but I get blamed. When I prove they were in the wrong not me,they try to go back to something I did to get the heat off of them.I have talked to my boss and he states No one not even me are leaving this job so we need to learn to get along. But I have been here 2 yrs and nothing has changed yet.I don't want to complain to much to my boss, that way he don't get upset with me.What should I do?

Are you hotter than them? Maybe it's jealousy. Do you actually do a better job than them other than the few mistakes you made? Maybe they are intimidated. Its sounds like they are immature. I'm not sure why this job is so valuable to both of you but maybe you could consider transferring to another department? Maybe contact your human resources or equal opportunity section, if you have one, to see if they have any advice. If not then maybe mediation is the only option. Tell your boss and the other two that its not a healthy work environment and you think production in the office would improve drastically if something were to change...maybe more solo projects or moving cubicles to allow a little more privacy. It can be hard confronting superiors but what it sounds like is they are threatened that you might outshine them, my best advice is to keep doing your best, eventually you will get recognized and hopefully their bad attitudes will get recognized too (in a not so good sort of way)... GOOD LUCK!!

Leibchen, ignore them the best you can. Life is going to eventually give you or them a different job. As long as your boss is aware of how you feel, things should be fine (pay-wise). They (the other women) obviously do not want a friendship with you so don't waste another thought on them. They are the ones missing out. Always strive to do your best (which you do) and time will tell. If you feel like being a bit childish one day, see how long they can talk to the 'back of your head'. As long as you don't need them to do your job.....write them off. Maybe you are good enough at your job that they feel threatened? Some people feel they are defined by the job they do instead of them defining their job. Thats when people feel threatened. Don't bother pointing out their mistakes, don't bother with them....period. You are a bigger person than that. Chin up Doll.

Ignore them. They do it because you react.

Just do the best you can and be happy.
