I would use vinegar and baking soda. It isn't very explosive but you can be pretty sure of it's fizzing over. Add some brown spice and red food coloring to baking powder inside of a thin bottle or test tube if you have it. Insert the tube into the volcano and add the vinegar. It should flow up and over.

Pour some baking soda in the bottom of the volcano, and pour a mixture of red and orange and yellow liquid food coloring mixed with plain white vinegar on the baking soda. i used to love doing that.

um almost. Baking powder (not soda!) stuffed down inside confined space, then pour vinegar down the central hole to make eruption. lemon juice or another weak acid might work as well, you could too try cola!

use baking soda and food colouring !!!!!!!!!!! then just add a bit of water to make it erupt ......hope this helps
