Humpty Dumpty is an allegory for King John ( who had a hunchback) King John used to sit on a wall and shoot arrows at his gardners for amusement. Later in his life he was forced by the People to sign the Magna Carta. ( the precurser to the bill of human rights)They illustrated him as an egg for the Mother Goose book of Children's rhymes many years ago.
