I have a 2 year old with a small cold and I have a baby due any day now. I wouldn't normaly take her to the doctors becuase it is a cold but I don't want my newborn to get sick- would you take her or let it run its course. It is just a runny nose, mostly clear but some green here and there.

Being a mom of 2, if it was just a runny nose, I would not take them in. Runny noses can be caused by alot of things and if she's not having any other symptoms like fever, congestion ect. then I would wait. If she starts feeling to bad, maybe you can have a friend or relative help with taking her to see the doctor.

I probably would take her....I just recently took my daughter to the dr because she was having the runny nose and stuff. I thought I could get it healed up on my own, by letting it run its course, but then instead or coming out clear from her nose it turned green, and that is infection, plus, it was in her ears and throat too, might not want to take any chances of it getting worse. I would get it taken care of before the new one gets here. Congrats on the new baby too.

It wouldn't hurt to take her just to make sure there is no infection there. Usually I just get told with my son, the same old thing, Tylenol, fluids, nothing we can do. If nothing else call your pediatricians office and ask what they think about it with the new baby coming.

Its genuine, infants won't be in a position to truly take many drugs, yet might nevertheless be a sturdy thought to take bub to the wellness care professional basically incase its something greater severe. My female toddler had a chilly at 4 weeks, and all i ought to do replaced into placed those drops in her nostril and suck out the boogers so she ought to eat and breath correct. basically convenience her! back, you need to take her to get checked, basically in case.

You will be exposing your daughter and yourself to more potentially dangerous germs taking her in than just dealing with what you have now. Nursing your new baby will provide it with plenty of immunities and s/he should be just fine, if you need some reassurance then call the pediatrician and see what they think.

Nothing a Dr can do for the common cold...you are going to have to let it run its course.

I wouldnt take unless you would otherwise. The new baby will have lots of defenses against colds for right now.

I would still take her in- worse case scenario would be something along the lines of pneumonia.
