which is better the freddy movies, or the jason movies and why?
i say freddy because he is a smart *** killer, and sleep is somethin u need but he only comes when ur sleeping. smart movie.

Friday the 13th movies are so cheesy!
The fun thing about the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, is that dreams are so powerful for REAL. They say that if you die in your dreams, that you will actually die. I know that I've awakened from a nightmare with my heart pounding and sweat pouring off me.
Jason could never do that.

Freddy is a much better character, what with actually talking and all. And the Nightmare on Elm St. movies are much more entertaining to re-watch than Jason's. But from a cinema/film-critic point of view, the Friday the 13th movies are better. They actually paid attention to style and cinematography and drek like that.
Personally, I've always prefered the nightmare franchise, and I thin I always will.

Freddy is scarier cuz you never know what he's gonna do... and the thought of him appearing in your dream makes me not wanna go to sleep ever... Jason is kinda slow and not that scary... so I would say Freddy movies are scarier...

Personally I like Angela from the Sleepaway Camp series. But if i had to choose i'd go with Freddy

freddie as jason was doing the same thing time after time stab stab stab where as freddie had charisma about killing someone

I also always preferred the Nightmare on Elm Street movies more because of the dream/sleep aspect, you couldn't hide from him which made him that much scarier.
