Do you look at each candidate's postions on issues and compare, thinking about who would be best for the office in question, or do you vote for your team (ie: always voting Republican because you are conservative, or always voting democrat, because you're liberal)?

that's easy, i look at who's in office now then i watch the debates and everything leading up to the election and if i think that some one else can do a better job then that person, then i vote for the person who i think will be better..and this year everyone i voted for won. i make sure that i understand the candidates and what they stand for before i vote..

Place yourself with regards to class. Basically, if your not a millionaire, your a democrat--liberal, conservative, moderate, radical, left-wing---whatever--your some type of democrat. Unless you are a millionaire or better there is nothing that the republickend party platform has to offer you tax wise, in the work-place, or with regards to any monetary policy that benefits the middle/lower class. You can be a wannabe republican if you like to be told what to do, like a sheep or something, but who likes that? Lots of folks on here don't comprehend their politics and just like to be associated with the party in control. Crazy. Know who you are and you'll comprehend on who to vote for.

Personally I'd check out if I liked their policies. A lot of voters just stick with their political parties and that's why there's so many morons in office because they get away with it.
