I have about $300 in change but its very dirty and almost unrecognizable, what will clean it?

I always clean my pennies in white vinegar. You just fill a bowl with vinegar, and soak the pennies in it. However, be careful not to soak them too long, because they could disintegrate! Just soak them long enough until they are shiny, remove them and rinse them off. You can even use soap to clean them after if you don't fancy having pennies smelling like vinegar in your pockets!

I have tried with equal success:
soaking in vinegar(only until they start to shine,then wash off with regular dishwashing soap)
coating with ketchup and scrubbing off with baking soda,then washing as above.
It depends on what I happen to have at hand.

your not suspose to wash coins. rub them with an old wash
rag,or shop rag,old sock.

if you know someone who relaods ammo, ask if you can use there tumbler, will make them like new
