It can make it more difficult to figure out when you're ovulating, which in turn can make it take longer to conceive. My recommendation, buy OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) to help you know when you ovulate. I know many people who have had a lot of success with that.

It can very much so make it difficult! The best way to get yourself ready for conception is first get your periods straight you can do this with either medication or believe it or not diet and exercise because a woman's weight effects even her period It can also be from being underweight as well do don't think being thin is the cure all because your body has a perfect plain for it to be in tip top working order You should see your Obgyn and discuss your periods and the fact that you are wanting to become pregnant that way he can give you the meds or advise you need to get your body in order and also write you a prescription for prenatal vitamins which is best for mother and child if started b4 conception! Best of luck to you dear!!

I no exactly how you feel, i have very irregular periods recently i went 15 weeks without a cycle. However with the aid of ovulation tests i now figure out when im ovulating and we go for it. Maybe you should visit your GP often they can prescribe drugs to make you ovulate more frequently.

Most definately.

If you are not having a regular period, you might not be ovulating regularly.

See a doctor if you are hoping to conceive.

Well yes and no.
You will be able to conceived like anyone else, but it will be harder since you can't really know wich day you are ovulating.
The best way to know is to chart your temperature.

Buy the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"

It will teach you how to chart your cycle and how to recognize the natural body signs of ovulation. Worked for a lot of my friends and they were pregnant shortly thereafter.
