Ewww...I know right!! I mean it's a given that the movie stars are "beautiful" but for instance Brittney Spears has really bad acne that we don't usually see unless the magazines catch her off guard, and many others have flaws which make normal people like me and you feel a little better about themselves. I guess the saying IS true...."There is no such thing as PERFECT"

They are human like the rest of us. With good days and bad days and sometimes better bone structure.
What makes them more appealing and beautiful in our eyes is the airbrushing and constant attention to groomig they get from their own personal assistants, makeup artists and agents.
They have the money to spend on having people do their hair, makeup, and their own personal trainers 24/7.
Magazines also touch their pictures up. If you saw some of the models in person on a day where they did not have all that extra attention - you might think they are attractive - BUT nowhere near the level you think they are by watching tv, movies and reading magazines.
Celebrities don't even look like themselves in normal situations.

No.. its because the media and other industry's make billions from distorting Americas perception of beauty. You envy the way celebs appear to look on camera, or in print and in turn you go out and buy beauty products that the magazines tell you these celebs use, you get plastic surgery to have lips like Angelina, you buy fashion magazines, you spend thousands on clothes, its all bullshit. Photoshop has made many celebs appear to be "perfect".. it can even make you look skinnier ..

I think the public would be better off knowing that celebs are normal people... just like everyone else.. we all have flaws.

That is true could you imagine being pampered everyday at work by someone doing your hair and make up perfectly then on your days off keeping up with that? Heck no I would look ratty all the time I like the natural look anyway.
