and if so how? what is the washer settings? i have a military gortex jacket and my kitten had an accident on it so it must be washed, please help me out!

sure! I wash mine all the time. I use the cold water setting and drip dry.
That's all there is to it!
If you're really worried, you can use the gentle cycle, but I find that since GorTex is waterproof, you kind of need the agitation of the machine.
Oh, and I usually pre-treat spots and don't use much soap at all.

I have an Eddie Bauer Gore-Tex jacket (live in Seattle) and the care tag says:
hand or machine wash separately with powdered detergent on delicate cycle and rinse well.
tumble dry low heat setting
do not bleach
do not dry clean
I would just let hang dry if your dryer doesn't have a cool air dry setting.

I would recommend getting it dry cleaned
