I agree with Jefferson that man is inherently prone to evil and must strive to be good. Actually, the Bible says that man is born into sin, so I have it on good authority.

However, man also has been created in the image of God, and thus has a spark of good in him.

In the end, what a man does is a matter of choice.

I use the term "man" to mean mankind, because I'm still old school and just will now bow to political correctness. :o)

hay that's a good one , well th jefferson belived in the "human Spirit" and that whit Education the Narture of people can be changed throught what he called elightenment A.Hamilton on the other hand belived that humans are seriously flawed and can't be trusted
