I went to turn my iPod on (Nano) and it had like a safe mode kinda screen on. I went to try and turn it off or something and it came up to a blank screen with a white line under it and like all these letters all over it like 'r's and 'l's. I plugged it into my computer and nothing has happened. iTunes has not come up or anything. Any help on what to do please?

Unplug the nano from your computer and try resetting it by holding down the Menu and Play buttons together for about 10 seconds. The iPod should reboot and the Apple logo will appear, after which the iPod should function normally.

If this doesn't work, you may need to investigate the issue further using Apple's support site:

Alternatively, you can take the iPod in to an Apple Retail store in your area to have it serviced by one of their Mac Geniuses:

try resetting the ipod, by holding the play and the center button down together, usually works for me
