Rumsfeld is being chased out! Your so dramatic with your 'cut & run" Whatever....Rumsfeld is long over due to be taken down & out! The man is a disaster. If the Dem's hadn't taken the House and likely the Senate he still would have had a job (God that is scary!!)

Well, that's one way of looking at it. I think you just want answers that will boost your partisan beliefs, but I prefer to look at it as an olive branch extended to the Democrats. Maybe this is a step in the right direction so the parties can actually work together and get things accomplished instead of bickering back and forth.

You people will NEVER be happy, will you??

the final element we want is yet another expert bullsh*tter interior the White residing house. Rumseld replaced into my fashionable to observe in interviews and Q&As. He in no way replied questions! quite he danced and dodged around in fluent Washingtonspeak. It replaced into particularly appropriate to observe. He replaced right into a specialist. The others are all amateurs. Cheney settles for "bypass f*ck your self". Bush pretends he didnt hear the question and Gonzales only is going with "I dunno". yet there is no longer a snowballs probability in hell that i'd ever vote for Rumsfeld and that i doubt he ought to be President besides.

thats rediculus. the voting showed people want something done different and what he wants to do isnt different so he is letting someone else come in with ideas as the people voted for. You say he is doing a bad job then when he steps down you say he is leaving them high and dry. which one is it?

No he is saving himself from being humiliated. He knows they are going to make him accountable for things that he thought he would get away with.

He knew what was good for him, besides, I think he was afraid of being on the receiving-end of Cheneys shotgun on the next hunting trip.
