Eritrea is a member of the African Union (AU).

The country is bordered by Sudan in the west, Ethiopia in the south, and Djibouti in the southeast. The east and northeast of the country have an extensive coastline on the Red Sea.

No. It's in East Africa..used to be a province of Ethiopia until about 18 years ago but now is a country by itself. Since half the population is muslim, some of the muslim people there speak arabic (not all). Also, Eritrea has some (less than 2 percent) Rashida nomads who travel between Eritrea, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Rashidas are mostly of Arab linage.

It is sometimes considered part of the Arab World, but not the Middle East. It is regarded as an East Africa country.

For sure no! Its a country in Africa.......its actually a fairly new country, they got independence from Ethopia less than 20 years ago! Its in Africa! Google it, and search a map!
