His overwhelming margin of victory in Vermont has gone purposely under the capitalist media radar screen.

I'm not a socialist, but this guy is going to make politics real interesting. Bernie is a h*ll raiser for the little guy. He'll be a good antidote to the major party suckups to international corporations. I think you'll enjoy him.

Here's a taste of Bernie vs. Greenspan. LOL

Exchange between Congressman Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and FED Chairman Alan Greenspan in yesterday's hearing in the Financial Services Committee.

SANDERS: Thank you, Madam Chair.

And, Mr. Greenspan, nice to see you again.

Mr. Greenspan, I have long been concerned that you are way out of touch with the needs of the middle class and working families of our country, that you see your major function in your position as the need to represent the wealthy and large corporations.

And I must tell you that your testimony today only confirms all of my suspicions, and I urge you -- and I mean this seriously, because you're an honest person, I think you just don't know what's going on in the real world -- and I would urge you come with me to Vermont, meet real people. The country club and the cocktail parties are not real America. The millionaires and billionaires are the exception to the rule.

He can't be any worse than a Democrat or a Republican...Let's give him a shot and see how he does.

My opinion? Ol' Bernie is completely out of touch and would be much more at home as a politician in northern Europe.

"... this guy is going to make politics real interesting."?

Perhaps - along the lines of Paul Wellstone, whose principal accomplishments were to get in the way of the rest of the bums doing their dirty work.

Really, in the end, guys like Sanders are ciphers - look at Bobbie Boxer for an example. Can't get a bill passed to save their lives. Their principal purpose in hanging around is to do just that - hang around making noise.

More power to 'em but don't expect anything to actually HAPPEN.

Bernie has always done a great job IMO. He is the only politician I know who was willing to hire a bus to take a group of senior citizens over the border even when the government said it was illegal to go over the border to get your meds. I agree with Bernie - if it was the only way they could afford to buy necessary prescriptions then why not!

Those who were anti-Bernie in the state--- you really wanted Tarrant who vowed to control wasteful spending yet spent more than $6 million on his campaign??? Talk about wasteful spending.

Sounds like he'll be a pretty funny guy to listen in to compared to other politicians. It is actually nice to see some non-party politicians win occasionally as much as the repubs will complain makes me smile even more, because i find whining republicans hilarious

Bernie is a Democrat masquerading as something else. I don't know how he got reelected. Even his States biggest Newspaper backed his opponent. Vermont is a weird State. Democrat everywhere....except Governor. Odd.

This is great.

We've had millions of people over the years who identify as sociallist, finally someone in our government who can represent them.

This is democracy.
