I was about 10 the first time I smoked pot and I was 13 the first time I used meth (crystal, speed ,crank it's all the same). honestly I tried it because it was available and I was curious I kept on using it because it made me feel good. The more I used it the more addicted I got! i quit smoking pot when I was about 14 because I liked the effects of speed much much more!!! I eventually got strung out over time and put my mom through hell!!! I finally got completely clean when my 2nd daughter turned one!!! children need to be discouraged away from drugs because it is a trap...people do drugs as experimentation and continue to use drugs because it makes them feel good!!! That's the trap and I was too young and inexperienced to know the difference or see that I was becoming addicted!!! People need to quit lying to their children....it usually feels nice when you do drugs at first and kids need to know that...they also need to know not to get caught up in that trap!!! I have now been sober for 11 years and I can't imagine my life If I were to get back on drugs now!! It is better for young people to completely stay away from drugs because of their naivety!!!
I hope that may have answered some of your curiosity... if your a teenage and are considering talking drugs I highly HIGHLY recommend that you don't!!! It's not worth everything that you can lose!!

many different reasons.
their friends do it and say what it feels like and ask if they want to find out how they would feel...
the one they are dating does it so they want to spend more time with them and that helps them do it
their parents sit them down and tell them if they are going to do it then they are going to do it at home with them...
too many reasons to say, but all you gotta do is say no thanks... friends might make fun of them for a minute, but they don't really mean it and friends bust on each other all the time, they will still be friends. find something else to do with the one you are dating... or somewhere else to go... and parents HAVE TO STOP thinking it's okay as long as they do it at home. They will do it at home, and outside, but they are the ones that showed them it was okay to begin with!
I saw alot of peer pressure in there... that might be true, but a small percent. How many parents talked to their kids about drugs that had peer pressure? Not many.

Usually it's one of two things, they are bored and want something to do, or are having problems and want to feel better. Most of them choose drugs for an easy solution. At least that's why most of my friends tried them.
