I mean - are they too 'out there' to be considered professional? I have some 2" plats 6" hee;s that are so cute and comfortable, but I'm not sure if they are good anywhere but the club.

It's not about "out there" or not - it's about how you want people to perceive you. If you wear shoes like that to work, in my opinion, it is unprofessional. If others feel like me, they will remember what you have worn in the past and it may reflect negatively on you later on when promotions are given out. You have to remember that in the end, you are reflecting your company and not so much yourself. Leave your sexy shoes for the bar on a saturday night.

If you wear 2" platforms with a cute pant suit than that would be okay, but 6'" heels are a little too over the top for an office attire. I would probably keep them for a night on the town with the girls. Either way just do what makes you feel comfortable and confident in your work environment!

Nope not good for the office.
The office is not for cute, if you want to advance your career.
Wear heels, but real heels for the office. Something with closed toes, in neutral colours.
There are great shoes out there that are sexy but professional, like Kenneth Coles

Platform shoes should only be worn during casual times. One never knows what office tasks you will be asked to do and platform shoes are more of a hazard and you could ge hurt.

Well what shoes you wear shouldnt matter in a work force, if your sitting alot,then sure, where high heels, if your walking alot, then i wouldnt suggest it.
As long as your covered modestly for work with clothes, then shoes shouldnt matter.

Wear sensible shoes when at the office. You will come across as unprofessional and immature. Sad but it's true. And anyone else who said they wear "hooker boots" should be leaving them at home also.

they are fine, as long as you arent wearing a short skirt. they will be fine if they are with pants or a skirt that is at least to the knee. the shoes themselves arent whats sexy, heels make your LEGS more sexy, so to tone it down, cover more leg.
