i dont think she was dissing carrie underwood what i think happened was that because she sang just before the award and was backstage that she thought she had it won because usually the person backstage is the winner and you can clearly see her smiling and almost jumping up and down like she knew she won and i think when they called carrie it just blew her away and she was like "WHAT" i dont think it would have mattered whos name they called she would have had that reaction...

I so totally do not think she was dissing Carrie Underwood either. she is known for being such a nice person and the whole thing taken out of context may have made her look bad but I don't for a hot second believe that she meant anything mean. If you weren't there, didn't hear as well as see the whole thing you would not really know what happened. She immediately said she was not dissing Carrie. I believe her!

I sort of agree. I think it was a reaction to her not winning because your right she was ready to jump up I think it was shock but also, she is pretty stuck on herself and just assumed she had won, I do think tho that had it have been someone else she wouldnt have had quite the reaction because lets look at carrie underwood, she hasnt been around long enough to earn that she has only had what two top songs? That is not enough that award to go to someone with more like gretchen wilson even.

I do think Faith was upset. My point is her statement she issued was not an apology. If it was a joke it was done in poor taste. She knew the cameras were on her as well as the others nominees. Her statement should have said, "I am sorry for the joke, it was done in poor taste...etc.". I was surprised too, but happy for Carrie Underwood. She is a great singer. Heck ain't nobody better than Martina in my book, and she is classy too. I think Faith is becoming a Diva, or at least trying too.

I think being on the Oprah show has given her the Oprah syndrome. I like her music but I think that like most hollywood types she is a needy, insecure person on the inside and so she reacted like a spoiled child. Sometimes, the most beautiful, talented individuals are the most insecure, messed up individuals. Go ahead and sue me. Just look at James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, or Judy Garland, to name a few. Don't idolize Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie because they are just like us, only rich and famous.

She looked like she said "what the f-" in an angry, unattractive way. She's a performer, she should have known her reaction would be captured- these award shows are nothing new. I think she expected to win and didn't, but it had nothing to do with Carrie.

No, she was just mad she didn't win. Faith Hill has been to the Top and back and there again. I think she should have won, but that's just me. Kinda odd to see behavior like that come out of Faith, but she's human just like me and you!

i watched the damn thing and i din't see any real negative reaction from faith, now brad paisley looked pissed when he didn't win (and he should have!) but i doubt if faith cares one way or the other, maybe she just resents how easy it was for carrie, i mean faith worked for a long time before she made it big.

I don't think Faith was angry.. Carrie had won The Rising Star Award, right? I don't think she should have been in the same catergory as the female artist of the year. Maybe, next year, but not this year. But, that is my opinion..

i don't think it would've mattered whos name it was, i agree with that....but i think she was being a diva...that was no joke like her pr people said. as for who preformed...so did carrie underwood, so your theory on that is not accurate. i think faith hill is tired and over-rated anyway. she's had her few hits and it's time to move on. she's not even that easy on the eyes anymore....not to mention her performance was way below par for any standard. i know i wouldn't run out and buy that single because her performance was that bad.....
