Good or bad luck is the result of good or bad choices.
Curses? people make them but they cannot affect you unless you allow it. It is all a psychological thing.

It's very hard to say whether or not there is a such thing as bad luck. I don't think there is a such thing as good luck or bad luck. I believe in curses, however. i believe that curses can be broken and made. I don't believe in curses as in a witch put a curse on you. I believe that there really are some poeple who have been cursed from birth, maybe because of something their parents did. I also believe in the generational curse. Just as in a family can keep going through the same thing over and over with each generation. I also believe that some people can put a curse on themselves and not even knowing. It all comes down to the person's mindset. i believe curses can be broken. It would take a lot of work, but it will feel good in the end to know that you conquered something almost as big as life itself in only one lifetime.

I don't believe in curses, and I don't believe in good luck/bad luck in the sense you have described. For example, some people say walking under a ladder is bad luck. I think it would be completely ridiculous to blame everything bad that happened to on walking under the ladder. Or to attribute all the good things that happened to you to the "lucky" rabbit's foot in your purse. Some people have a lot of bad things happen to them. That's life. There isn't necessarily an explanation for it, but it's human nature to try and find one, which is why so many people will blame their bad fortune on something silly like a "curse".

yes. i truly believe that bad luck exists. there are days when however hard i try to think positive, nothing just goes right.
but the question about being born under a bad sign is slightly dicey. see there are a lot of people who suffer for no fault of theirs go through an enormous amount of hardships. however hard they try, they just do not come out of it. i can give you the example of women who are forced into prostitution, or children who are abandoned at birth. the saddest lot of people i came across were however decent hard working people who either lost a spouse, or whose spouses turned out to be scoundrels.

Negative thoughts lead to Negative action and positve thoughts leads to positive action. If one is determined to complete a work with full concentration and eliminates Ego completely he can not be stopped by any Bad Luck. No one is born under a bad sign only his deeds bring him bad luck, one who is not having calm mind and not having clear thoughts and is having Ego is bound to suffer from bad Luck right from his chidhood to his death.

Bad luck is an outdated way of explaining some random events. Nothing more, nothing less.
