Honestly I'm probably one of the only girls in the world who thinks this, but I hate roses. They are so regular. Giving a girl roses requires no thought, no decision making process. Guys read about giving girls roses in books, see it in movies, and see their friends do it.

My boyfriend, when he chooses to get me flowers, always get's me rare but beautiful flowers. I love orchids and lady slippers. I always know that he put some thought into it, and it just means that much more.
