I hate lazy people who sit in their *** all day. People take way to much advantage of the government. You got drug dealers who get welfare cards to feed their families, yet they are rolling on rims, worth more than their shitty cars. People who can't work I can understand but if you got 2 functionable legs and arms, whats wrong with this country?

i understand what you are saying. I am one of those people who recieve food stamps and medicaid for my children. I used to be a drug user and dealer. I was part of societies problem and now I like to think that i am a much better father and part of the solution for my community. I got caught selling and that was the turning point of our lives. Any how I have had my job for almost two years and earned my first paid vacation but we still need that help because we have seven children that we love so much. So just do not give up hope on people because they get assistance although we do cause are own problems some people can change and it takes something as drastick as loosing your family and life as you know it. Our goal is to be pretty much debt free and off of the food stamps by july of 07.

Ok I know people who are on the system who don't sit on there *** all day. I'm surprised that you think it that easy to get on the system it is not. There are mom's of all races and are on it because the kid's father sits on his *** all day and doesn't want to pay child support. The people I know bust thier *** all day doing what is required of them just to earn the pitiful amount they get on the system. The childcare is a joke to the people trying to work or go to college so they can not be on the system. I'm not saying some people might abuse it. They just make it worse for the people on it trying to get off it and never have to be on it agian.

Two categories that you have forgotten, that I can think of off the top of my head are unemployed, they might, should be looking for work, and the mentally ill, 2 good arms & legs but have mental-social problems. I'm talking bi-polar, schizophrenic, some times controllable with meds but not always. On the rest I agree.

They don't perhaps you mean if someone with a family gets laid off? So if you get laid off your kids should starve? The government does not help lazy people it helps large rich corporations such as Exxon who recorded record profits and received billions in corporate welfare....now I hope you feel better.

It is quite possible to work and still not make enough to support your family.

If it bothers you that much move to Mexico......there is no welfare there.
