Which character is most likely to die in the last book of harry potter and y?

Well, that depends. Did Rowling kill Dumbledore, or did he escape? Likewise, is Snape evil? Since the whole outcome of the story hinges on Snape, it is a valid concern. Most likely, Rowling will kill characters that are simply names to the readers, such as Madam Bones' death in the sixth book. A whole lot of smaller characters that bring to mind the horror of the situation, without harming a main character; Rowling may need them. Though, I, for one, predict Percy. Some would say his death would be a good thing. The same could be said for Umbridge.

I would hope it wouldn't be a main character, but i am not completely sure. I agree with a few of these answers, but i have a feeling it might be someone more import. Maybe one of the twins or...Ron or Hermione. IDK!...lol...i don't think Harry would be killed off in the last book...i think voldemort will die and that Harry will live, but there will always be a little part of him within harry.

Who i think is going to die is Harry,Ron and Hermine.
I think this because J.K.Rolling said she likes to kill off main characters.And there's no other main main character than Harry Ron and Hermine.Oh,and when Harry dies i think he actually sacrifices himself,and then Ron and Hermine die by trying to protect Harry.(This is all from my mind so don't believe other people when they say I've read the book,because i haven't.I'm just a good guesser and i use what gets leaked out from authors.)

Of course Voldemort. Jo Rowlings believes that evil cannot triumph. So that is a given. The other characters are going to be at risk and she is playing it very close to her vest as to who makes it out alive.

People I do not see making it out:

Snape - I think he is truly good. He is going to die protecting both Harry and Draco.

Lupin - this is rough. He is really being setup. I wonder if Tonks is going to get killed instead? One of the two may well be horribly wounded.

Arthur Weasley - I know, it almost happened before but this time I think he is going to die. He is a favorite character of mine and it is one of the hardest blows to Molly that I could imagine.

BTW, I think Percy is a spy for the Order of the Phoenix. Dumbledore and Molly were the only ones who knew. Molly is the only one who knows now.

I cannot see Jo killing Harry, Hermoine or Ron. Neville is likewise too dear. I think Neville will puzzle out what his mother has been trying to tell him by giving him that gum wrapper. Jo Rowlings likes scrambling up letters. Go back and look at the brand of gum.

The horcrux location needs to be linked by one very important character and he may die: Stan Shunpike. How many times have we heard about Stan (the former conductor on the Knight Bus) being wrongly imprisoned? Who else is in Azkaban? Two people: Malfoy and Mundungus. Mundungus has been stealing things from the Black mansion. One of those things may have been the small gold locket that no one could open. Remember that from _Order of the Phoenix_? It was in a cabinet they were cleaning out. Stan Shunpike may hear Mundungus tell Lucius Malfoy about the locket. The locket may be the horcrux. Just a thought.

Whatever happens in book seven, it will be a surprise. Jo Rowlings does love to surpise her readers. You know what else? I will be in a small independent bookstore waiting at midnight (probably July 7, 2007) to buy my copy first thing.

I think Neville Longbottom might be killed for two reasons. One, it would be a big surprise, and two, he would die a hero, making his family proud.
