I need help because i'm moving and my apartment comes with wireless. All i have though is a desktop. Is it possible to use this wireless card with my desktop?

If it's a USB wifi adapter, then obviously yes. But PCMCIA cards designed to go in notebook expansion slots, probably not.

Ocassionally you can find PCI adapters that are holders for notebook PCMCIA cards (you put the combined unit into your desktop using a free PCI slot) but they are pretty old, and I've only seen them from Netgear, not Linksys. The Linksys PCI adapters have the cards actually soldered into place, I think.

Besides, nowadays new desktop Wifi cards are so cheap,. it's hard to justify the time & trouble of finding converters like that... Here's a case in point, the new card is under $30 at CompUSA
