Yes, the heat source is not the issue it the unvented part. It MUST be fitted by a registered Installer And notified to your local authority . This is definately NOT a job for DIY or cowboy unvented water not fitted with the correct level of protection could be extremely dangerous!!!!

The reason for the venting is to make sure CO-2 does not build up in the house. It is indeed an invisible killer. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, it is a must to have a certified installer.

appears like your thermostat is both set too severe or is defective. The noise you're listening to is perhaps the water boiling. recommend you've it checked because it may reason extra complications.
