am i the only one who thinks it rude that peole can't say please! as in
"pat, can i have an r please"
or
"alex, music for $800. please"

i know i shouldn't be watching so much t.v. but i shouldn't be wasting my time playing on the computer either! and yet i am............................

If you think they are rude on those shows, I walked into the T.V. room one night when my husband was watching Poker, There is nothing to be said of politeness for one of their players, and I was raised to understand that Poker is a Gentleman's game, and you are respectful of your other players, Take a good look at any of your game shows, past or present, I think manners sort of go out the window when you are playing. Truth or Consequenses, and the Price is Right, seemed to have had the most polite contestants I recall, and then some of them were a little questionable, remember, editing was done back then is most cases, and what slipped through, oh well.

Maybe they asked them not to say please! It takes up too much time to say give me an R, please. and before the please is out, pat is already talking about an R.
