When having two operating systems on the same computer, is it possible to transfer files from one system to the other without burning files?

On my pc I have "Windows xp operating systems" x2. I hoping to find a way to transfer some old files on one system to the new system. Can anyone help me with my dilemma?

yes u would just copy and paste either between the paritions. u would be able to use my computer or windows explorer.
