Kurt Cobain is probably my all time favorite. I like the way he hacked out his chords/solos.
As an FYI - I worked with a lady who grew up with Tom Morello. She said he's a great guy.

my favorite current guitarist is Jade Puget (currently in AFI) he was amazing even before he got famous with AFI. i hope some of you out there know they have more than two albums (i own all of them).

JIMI HENDRIX!!!! THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER EVER, and for the one currently, either matt heafy - trivium, kirk hammett- metallica, or.....neil young, but jimi all 'round, he acually made me want to play the guitar.....
