"pseudo" (false) + "science" = a fake/false science which is not believed by most scientists since its bases are not reliable.

Chemistry on the other hand is "the study of matter, its properties, its composition and the changes it undergoes". Simply stated, it is the study of matter.
It has different branches and some are corelated with other branches of science, like Biochemistry, for example.

Since chemistry's foundations are believable and are strong, chemistry is a "true science".
