No the DVD seperates are different from the series box sets. The DVD seperates tend to take episode from the more recent series, and one or two from past series. 80 Dohs is a mixture from Season 9 onwards, with 30 Mins over Tokyo from season 9, Simpsons Safari from season 12, Blame it on Lisa from Season 13 and The Regina Monologues from Season 15. To put it into some kind of prespective, the Simpson is now up to Season 18. I personally would stick to the series box sets as it is worth the money compared to 4 episode you may or may not seen.
