For the most part, these are great cars. Some CV joint problems when they get up in mileage (80-100K). Engines are bullet proof. Check "Consumer Reports"

I have owned 2 in my lifetime and love them both the car i own now is my second one. they are great on gas milage i get about 45 miles to the gallon in the one i have now its a 98. They are like a timex takes a licken and keeps on ticken!!
