Psychiatrists never agreed with the bible, Freud made it an illness because he defined "illness" as anything different from himself, then, in 1975, they acknowledged that Freud was wrong and that it had always been normal, they did the same thing for BDSM in 1987.

The APA caved in to political pressure from the gay community.Therefore showing their unprofessionalism. Either something is a mental illness or it isn't. You can't change an illness to a nonillness just by changing your spots.
