My fantasy football trades which seemed great at first took a turn for the worst this last week.

trade one: hasselbeck goes down so I trade Ronnie Brown for tom brady. Brown 157 yards, brady 4 int

trade 2: trade leon washington for reggie bush, bush runs for negative 5 yards ( I ran for more yards sitting home drinking beer), but I mainly made that trade as I'm in a keeper league, I have LT and Ahman green starting for me.

trade 3: Balt D for Andre Johnson ( I needed a WR as Santana Moss went down) Balt D 3 TD last 2 weeks Andre only one

It was just funny to see my trades crumble this week.
I'll just sit here as you all laugh at me, by the way take 2 points on your way out.

i usually have problems with who i start/bench..classic example, i am REALLY weak in one plus league in the QB slot...i chose warner in the beginning, that worked well, and backup was clemens cause i thought he would start, well, hoped he would start...warner's out, clemen's ain't starting...so in week 9 i had to choose from joey and vince young...i went with young....
sigh....joey would have scored me plus 20 pts in the league....vince got me dill....

more specific, though, i think trade one and two are good trades, just crappy weeks, but i don't like the third trade at all...balt has been insane this year, couple down spots, but overall they are money and johnson, i don't think, is worth the balt d....

First of all you must be fairly new to this. Lighten up and let things happen; it's a 16 game season and not a one week season. Bush has had a great year except for one game.

I dont' like keeper leagues; takes too much time.

Dont' trade just to trade, and dont' freak out when a guy gets hurt.

Andre Johnson is not a big time WR especially in fantasy football. Baltimore is back and their defense; along with Chicagos' can sometimes carry you to a win. That was a terrible trade for you.

Think about the long run and not for just a week.

It looks to me like you may be a little impatient with your players. Players have bad weeks, even Peyton Manning has bad weeks, and you have to sit on them for a little bit. Brady will bounce back from last week. Bush will be huge in the keeper league and may start doing better as early as this week. I would put money on it that Sean Payton tries to build some confidence in the young back and makes plays specifically for him that are meant to be broken for big yards. Mark my words. Lastly, Andre is the man and you can never complain about a WR getting any touchdowns and Baltimore won't be putting up 2 TD's again anytime soon.

Good Luck

You just have been unlucky - Brady is going to do well under usual circumstances. If you are in a keeper league, so will Bush and Johnson. And you still have Moss to trade later when he has another breakout week and Hasselback in another week or so.
